Oxford Don!

🎓 New life chapter: I am super excited about joining (formally) “The Chancellor, Masters and Scholars of the University of Oxford” as a Professor of Human-Centred Systems in the Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford and an Official Fellow of the wonderful Kellogg College, University of Oxford effective 1st October 2026. The longest gown in town has been obtained!

I shall be focusing on exciting new research lines collaborating with several themes (Security, Systems, HCC, AI, etc) in the excellent and friendly CS department, as well as good friends at the University of Oxford, Department of Engineering Science and Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford. I will start a new module around Security and Privacy of ML on the well-established Professional Master’s Programme at the Department of Computer Science. I will also continue my industry engagements with Brave & Mulini .

I wish to thank the great colleagues at Imperial College London for 9 productive years, teaching great students and working with lovely colleagues Imperial College Computing , I-X and Dyson School of Design Engineering , papers at top venues, competitive grants, startup, industry gigs, EPSRC Fellowship, and wonderful memories. It’s time to try out new (well, 900+ year old) pastures.
